It is writ large upon the basalt that crystallizes underneath the ocean, squeezed out by the currents of an unimaginably large pool of molten rock. I'll run a trawler over my moods. I'll be dragging sensitive magnetometric devices. I'll tell you a story about how the fishing has been.
I'm afraid that geology fishing metaphors are kind of a dead end.
