The fertile smell of freshly spread manure came rolling in the open window on warm, humid air as I throttled through the fields of Indiana just east of Terre Haute last night. It's good to get back into the thick air and lush green environs of the Midwest.
Teaching a second eight weeks course is a luxury for sure. I still have more than a month of fishing (and dissertation writing?) before I start teaching. Hazah.
I'm only half way through pictures and stories from my trip to Colorado and the nicest fish are still to come. Here are some from a tributary to the Conejos I fished for Rio Grande cutthroats and from the tailwater section of the Conejos way up high below the "town" of Platoro.
